Job Description

This role involves driving and operating heavy-duty semi-trailer trucks for transporting goods across local and international routes. Drivers must ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo while adhering to Polish and European transport regulations.

Key Details:

  • Age Range: 22–55 years old.
  • Salary: Starting at ~€1,800/month.
  • KOD 95 Certification: Available for ~€2,400.
  • Language Requirement: Basic English proficiency for effective communication.
  • License: Heavy Duty Driving License required.
  • Visa & Work Permit: Processing takes approximately 60 days.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

    1. Vehicle Operation:

      • Safely operate and drive a semi-trailer truck for transporting goods across Poland and neighboring countries.
      • Follow route plans and adhere to delivery schedules.

    2. Cargo Management:

      • Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo.
      • Verify shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    3. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

      • Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
      • Report and address any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly.
      • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck.

    4. Regulatory Compliance:

      • Comply with Polish and European driving regulations, including EU hours-of-service rules.
      • Maintain an updated KOD 95 Certification, required for professional truck driving in Europe.

    5. Navigation and Route Management:

      • Plan and navigate efficient routes using GPS and maps.
      • Adjust routes as necessary to avoid delays caused by road conditions or traffic.

    6. Documentation and Reporting:

      • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details.
      • Submit daily or trip-specific reports to supervisors or dispatchers.

    7. Communication and Coordination:

      • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, clients, and customs officials when required.
      • Provide excellent service during cargo pick-up and delivery.

    8. Safety Awareness:

      • Follow all traffic and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the driver, cargo, and other road users.
      • Attend safety and training sessions as required.

    Requirements:

    • Heavy Duty Driving License: Valid for semi-trailer trucks.
    • KOD 95 Certification: Mandatory for professional driving in Europe. Assistance available for certification.
    • Language Proficiency: Basic English to handle documentation and coordination.
